Ingredients
  • 4 pieces of apples
  • 200g cottage cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
  1. How to bake apples with cottage cheese in the oven? Cooking food. For apples, sour-sweet varieties are better suited, antonovka will be especially flavorful.   3. Combine cottage cheese, liquid honey, egg yolk, ground cinnamon and sour cream. Mix everything well. If the cottage cheese is dry, you can increase the amount of sour cream to 3 tbsp.
  4. Wash and dry the apples. Cut off the top of the apple in the form of a cap, carefully remove the pulp inside the fruit with a sharp knife. Here you need to be careful not to damage the walls of the apples, otherwise when baking can leak juice and stuffing.
  5. Fill the prepared apples with cottage cheese filling.
  6. Cover the apples with sliced "caps", put them in a baking mold. Pour a little hot water on the bottom of the mold.
  7. Bake stuffed apples in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes until soft. Baking time will depend on the density and size of the apples. Larger apples take a little longer to cook. Soft and crumbly varieties will bake faster. Serve baked apples either warm or cold. When serving, you can sprinkle the dessert with honey. Enjoy!
